As an inclusive eco church we’re pleased to welcome new and returning students from the local universities and colleges to become part of our multigenerational community. In fact, many of our congregation first came to the city to study.
Some of our student members enjoy staying for our monthly learn and share lunches (these take place after worship on the third Sunday of each month, and lead into a presentation and discussion relating to social justice). On the first Sunday of the month we often join with friends at St Paul’s Clifton for Open Table, an LGBTQIA+ affirming communion service. On the fourth Sunday of the month evening worship is Taizé-style or Iona worship. Students may also be interested in Calm Create Community with space for prayer, for eating lunch and with occasional communion service or joining a house group such as the 20s and 30s group.
If you would like more information please contact Joy Morison (), Tim Melling () or speak to any of our Student Welcome Team on a Sunday morning. See also our flyer.
We’re an SCM link church and have connection with our neighbours at both Bristol School of Art and the University of Bristol. UoB students may also like get in touch with the University of Bristol Multifaith Chaplaincy and the free-church chaplain, Sam Hackett, who is based there.
